Who directs the Mother of God House of Prayer?
Sr. Carol Beevers, a
Sister of St. Joseph of Philadelphia, is Director of the House of Prayer and
lives and ministers on the grounds. Their ministries include:
· Large and small group retreats, both on the grounds and at
other facilities.
· Spiritual companioning for individuals desiring to grow in their
intimacy with God.
·
Individual directed retreats and private retreats for men or women desiring to give
undivided attention to God for any number of days. (Ordinarily, retreats run from three to eight
days, and are arranged on an individual basis.)
· Spiritual companioning for individuals desiring
to grow in their intimacy with God
· Large and small group retreats, both on the grounds
and at other facilities.
· Monthly Days of Recollection and Special Programs at
the House of Prayer. Topics for these days are published in the House of
Prayer brochure and in local parish bulletins.
· Days and Evenings of Recollection at host
sites.
Purpose: The purpose of the Mother of God House
of Prayer is to serve the spiritual needs of all who come seeking
spiritual growth. While its theology and perspective is Catholic in
nature, the House of Prayer is available to all who desire to grow in
their relationship with God, and through that relationship, desire to grow
in all other dimensions of life.
